In this self portrait the artist is swathed in newspapers, which as usual are replete with bad news.
This work is inspired by a poem written by the Lebanese poet Nadia Tuenis, entitled Who Will make me Real?
"Threatened, therefore living,
Wounded, therefore being
Fearful, therefore frightening,
Erect, therefore a flame tress.
Who will make me real?"
