According to the Archives of Montres Breguet, the present timepiece was made in 1989.
It can safely be assumed that this highly unusual marine chronometer style timepiece was made to special order and is a unique piece. The bottom part of the watch consists of a cut one piece domed rock crystal into which two canals were drilled, allowing the movement to be wound and the hands to be set. All sides of the outer box are made of large smokey quartz panels. It is furthermore set with approximately 107 diamonds and three large and one smaller cabochon sapphires.
