Cal. 861 L nickel-finished lever movement, 19 jewels, the champagne dial with applied black baton numerals, black "stick" hands, three sunk subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours registers, in large tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case, the gold bezel with black aluminium inlay calibrated for tachymetre scale, fluted lugs, the glazed display screw back with engraved inscription Apollo XI 1969 First Watch Worn On The Moon, 18K gold Omega link bracelet and deployant 18K white gold clasp numbered 345.0802, case, dial and movement signed

Accompanied by Omega Edition No. 1 Meisterwerke der Uhrmacherkunst Omega Speedmaster Professional Certificate No. 144, burgundy leather presentation box and outer packaging. According to the Archives of Montres Omega, the present watch was sold to Germany on 17 December 1980.

The Omega Speedmaster Apollo XI with sapphire case back was launched in 1980 and made in small special series, numbered but not limited, to commemorate Apollo XI's successful moon landing. The present watch is number A 144 of the gold version of this model, the backs engraved Apollo XI 1969 First Watch Worn On The Moon and numbered.
