'PF213', A RARE CARVED ALABASTER VASE BY PIERRE CHAREAU, CIRCA 1930
There are only very few examples of this vase. One was designed for Annie and Jean Dalsace in the Maison de Verre (1927-1931). It is now part of the collections of Musée National d'Art Moderne, Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris. True piece of sculpture, its subtle ondulating shape echoes the design of the famous 'Religieuse' floor lamp, 1923
