Newton appreciated the ironies of the luxury products on display in the Faubourg Saint-Honoré vitrines of Hermès. Finely crafted saddles, harnesses and bridles were juxtaposed with handbags, silk scarves and accessories. In 1976 he turned his observations into a witty and subversive shoot for Vogue Hommes.
