Each shaped circular and with shell heightened reeded rim, engraved with a coat-of-arms below an earl's coronet, each marked on the back, the backs further engraved with a scratchweight '15"17'; '15"15'; '15"14'; '15"8'; '15"6'; '15"9'; '15"8'; '15"3'; '15"19'; '15"12'; '16"6' and '15"10'
9½ in. (24 cm.) diam.

The arms are those of Hutchinson quartering Hely and Nixon, for Richard, 1st Earl of Donoughmore (1756-1825). The earldom, created in 1800 had a special remainder so that on the death of the 1st Earl the title was inherited by his brother. The Earl was Governor of Tipperary and Lord Treasurer's Remembrancer, Court of Exchequer, Ireland. (12)
