Vase shaped, chased with foliage, with scroll handles, one side with plaque depicting two putto at play, the other later engraved with coat-of-arms and inscription, marked near rim, the foot further engraved 'HANCOCK & CO 39 BRUTON ST LONDON', in fitted mahogany finish case
16 in. (41 cm.) high
82 oz. (2,565 gr.)
The arms are those of the Worshipful Company of Tin Plate Workers alias Wireworkers.

The inscription reads 'The Worshipful Company of Tin Plate Workers alias Wire Workers of the City of London Presented by Harold C. Hobbs Esq.'
