With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming manufacture of the present watch with "silver crystal" structured dial, applied Breguet numerals in black-oxidized gold and railway-track minute scale in 2004 and its subsequent sale on 18 March 2004. Furthermore delivered with the original fitted wooden presentation box and outer packagings.

This watch has never been offered in public before and is thought to be only the sixth example of this reference to appear in public to date.

Reference 5109, the large Gondolo model, was introduced at the Basel Fair in 2003 and in production until 2008. Its design was inspired by the Art Deco wristwatches representative of the 1920s.
