With a F.P. Journe presentation box.

François-Paul Journe was born in Marseille in 1957. He graduated from the Paris School of Watchmaking in 1976 and immediately joined forces with his uncle, a noted restorer of antique timepieces. In 1996, Journe established a workshop in Geneva, designing and making watch mechanisms for other brands. Three years later, in 1999, he launched his own watches under the label "F.P. Journe Invenit et Fecit".

The Vagabondage series was manufauctured in a limited series of 69 pieces cased in platinum. A further 10 examples were set with baguette diamonds such as the present lot. The Vagabondage was introduced to the market in 2005 and takes its name from the unique way in which time is displayed in a wandering manner.
