With report 10655670 dated 24 February 2010 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the diamond is fancy vivid yellow, natural color, internally flawless clarity
Accompanied by a supplemental letter dated 23 February 2010 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the diamond has been determined to be a Type Ia diamond. Type Ia diamonds are the most commonly encountered diamond type and occur in a range of colors from near-colorless to yellow and brown. Because of their historic occurrence in South Africa. Type Ia diamonds are often called "Cape" diamonds. Today, diamonds of this type have been found in all major diamond-producing regions of the world.
