Centering upon an oval cabochon emerald within a stylized pavé-set diamond scrolling leaf surround, accented by baguette-cut diamond veining, mounted in platinum, 1931, accompanied by a graduated ten-row emerald bead necklace of later design, 19½ ins.

The brooch with a copy of the certificate of authenticity no. NY2000-68 dated 4 December 2000 from Cartier Joailliers stating that the brooch was manufactured by special order; most diamonds were provided by Cartier and the central emerald was provided by the client (2)
