Ferdinand Paillet (1850 - 1918) was a renowned enamellist, mastering the fine art of painted enamel miniatures. He was the miniature painter for the house of Boucheron but also carried out work for the Verger Freres and used classical motifs to decorate jewellery and watches, examples of his work are held in the collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London
