With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1963 and its subsequent sale on 30 November 1964.

This watch is believed to be the first and so far only example of any reference 3504 to appear in public to date.

Reference 3504 is extremely rare and was not featured in any of Patek Philippe's brochures or literature of the time. Its case design is comparable to the also water-resistant reference 3445; the dial however is distinguished by the large baton numerals combined with the typical Patek Philippe "dauphine" hands.
