With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1953 and its subsequent sale on September 24 of the same year. Further accompanied by a Patek Philippe red leather presentation box.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never before been offered in public.

Patek Philippe produced the reference 2449 from 1948 until approximately 1955. The model was produced in two series, the first bearing the caliber 12 120 and the second like the present watch with the caliber 12 400.
