The following two lots, 70 and 71, are from Patek Philippe's reference 3944 series, launched in the mid-1980s. Both watches are fresh to the market and furthermore the first examples of reference 3944/20 models to appear in public to date.

According to the Archives of Patek Philippe, the movement and the case of this watch were not born together. It can therefore be assumed that either the movement or the case have been replaced to a later date.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never been offered in public before and is furthermore preserved in very good overall condition.
