This work is one of twelve images from the series Giverny: E.V. Day and Kembra Pfahler that was conceived during E.V. Day's residency in the Munn Artist's Program of the Claude Monet Foundation and exhibited at The Hole Gallery in NYC:

"My work often explores the propulsive energy that results when powerful entities-whether brides, or cats, or airplanes-come together. With the keys to Monet's Waterlily garden in hand I fantasized what kind of mischief might transpire in this tasteful landmark of tranquility."
