According to the Archives of Audemars Piguet, the present watch was manufactured in 1971 and sold in 1972.

This very fine watch is a perfect example for one of Audemars Piguet's celebrated triple complications, distinguished by their outstanding quality and elegant design.

According to our research, a total of only 10 Triple Complication calibers based on the same ébauches was produced between 1965 and 1974. Three of these were received in 1970, bearing numbers from 120'876 to 120'878, including the present watch. All of them were assembled and finished in Geneva, at rue Vallin 2 by the master watchmaker E. Simond. The Geneva-based office and workshop held by the brand until 1975 allowed them to print Geneva on the dials, this was especially the case for wristwatches.
In 1974, a new improved caliber including the same functions was introduced by the manufacture.
