Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1879 and its subsequent sale on January 17th of the same year. Further accompanied a brown leather Patek Philippe presentation box.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never before been offered in public.

Patek Philippe produced approximately 98 inking chronographs in two series. The first from 1878 to 1880 and the second from 1891 to 1892. For an example see Patek Philippe Museum - Patek Philippe Watches Volume I, p. 290, Inking Chronograph.
