I am also interested in ‘interior design’ but seen in terms of architectural theory. Interior design answers the contradiction between the idea of Surrealism and architecture … It has to do with the inside of your head, the body, the internal room, and the room inside you. I like to insist on the difference between exterior and interior architecture. This inner room has always been a space for women, for divas and dandies, for outsiders, for homos to retreat, to make a place for themselves.
