Accompanied by an OMEGA Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch on 9 September 1967 and its subsequent delivery to USA.
The reference ST105.012 came out in early 1964 with a new shape of case in order to protect the pushers and the crown of the Speedmaster. With this reference, OMEGA decided to change the signature on the dial with the “Professional” inscription, visible from the start of its production, the first quarter of 1964. The present watch features a case made by La Centrale Boites of Bienne (Switzerland), noted by a “CB” logo on the inside of the case back. It features unusual twisted flat lugs only found on this reference from this case maker.
An example of the reference 105.012 is illustrated and described in OMEGA, A Journey Through History by Marco Richon, 2007, p. 602.
