With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present clock in 1977 in 18k gold set with cabochon sapphires weighing approximately 21.60 carats and its subsequent sale on 23 December 1977 and fitted cardboard case.
This present clock is an extraordinary example of the Patek Philippe creativity and craftsmanship. The clock with its finely crafted enamel, gold flowerheads motifs and sapphire cabochon decoration is visibly influenced by the classical style.
