The present watch is part of an extremely limited prototype production run of around 20 watches fitted with the Lemania automatic flyback chronograph calibre 1377. In the 1990s, Breguet acquired the right to the movement and used it, without the date function, in its Type XX chronographs. Consequently, these Lemania prototypes are not only the only other occurrence of this movement in the entire history of horology, but furthermore the earliest appearance of it in a working wristwatch, ever. The present watch, offered in outstanding condition, with pristine dial and unpolished case, is number 17 of this rarified production.
