etching with drypoint, 1657, on laid paper, without watermark, a good impression of New Hollstein's fourth state (of five), before the extensive rework of the fifth state, trimmed on or just inside the platemark but retaining a fillet of blank paper outside the borderline on all sides, the sheet slightly toned, Gawet's inscription in brown ink verso showing through recto, otherwise in good condition
