The Museum Haus Lange, that hosted a Tinguely exhibition in 1960, asked the artist to design a relief which could be made by the buyer of the catalogue supplement that was sold during the show. The supplement consisted of a plan and a certificate which were numbered and signed by the artist. Fifty supplements were printed, thirty of which were sold and twenty were kept by the museum. From those that were sold, only sixteen were built, and were done so under the supervision of Tinguely and Alfred Otto Müller in Cologne.
