Work from the 'Ni Huan' Series of Flower Vessels Created in 2006. The porcelain is formed of a mixed clay which was fired in a high
temperature wood kiln and glazed natural grey. The concept of this work: 'Ni Huan' is one of Nirvana in clay form. Clay can be used to imitate other material so that one can forget the existence of the clay materials itself. However, the language of clay, clay's expression, and its ability to create different works, all awaken one's thought process and memories. Clay's transitional smoothness is its Nirvana.
