The plate of Robetta's Allegory of Carnal Love, which was rediscovered by the Milanese publisher Giuseppe Vallardi (1784-1861) and reprinted in the first half of the 19th century, is now kept at the British Museum, London. It is a double-sided plate, the other side being engraved with a scene of the Adoration of the Magi. Early impressions of both subjects are exceedingly rare.
