This wristwatch was inspired by the famed Italian car manufacturer Bugatti, founded by Ettore Bugatti, the son of the famous sculptor Carlo Bugatti, who was himself an artistic carpenter and produced his first automobile in 1901. This watch features a case design inspired by the sleekest of sport automotives designed by Bugatti such as the "Veyron", introduced in 2000 as a concept car. The engine-inspired movement contains five separate plates and double rim-shaped wheels all resting upon silent blocks. The complexities of the design are revealed by five surrounding sapphire crystals. The ten-day movement employs an interesting pen setting mechanism for setting and winding that transmits energy to the watch via a clutch mechanism.
