Each with a cartouche-shaped back and seat rail centered by foliage, on foliate headed cabriole legs with scrolled feet, each stamped TILLIARD to the back seat rail

Please note that, although these chairs can still be attributed to Tilliard’s workshop and can be dated to circa 1745, the stamps were probably added at a later date. The top two lines should therefore read:
