CHILDREN ACTION
Children Action: the first human right is the right to a childhood.
Since 1994, Children Action, a Swiss foundation, brings tangible help to children and young people in need all over the world. Today the Foundation is active in 7 countries (Argentina, Burma, Cameroon, Peru, Switzerland, Sri Lanka and Vietnam) through 13 projects, providing surgical treatments, working with children at risk of suicide and their families, developing programs focusing on mother/child early stage relationship, promoting education and nutrition. To date more than 104,000 children and young adults have benefited from the programs, experiencing real change in their lives and concrete benefits for their future. Children Action has no administrative costs as its Founder personally covers all of them. Every franc donated goes thus exclusively to the programs. Moreover, thanks to a powerful leverage effect enhanced by key partnerships, each 1 $ received generates 3 $. All proceeds from the sale of these earrings will go to Children Action.

MARGARET JEWELS
Margaret Jewels was established 8 years ago, as a personal, private and bespoke modern jeweller, infused with a sense of history, heritage and continuity. The company was firmly founded on relationships: Oriana and Candice grew up together, like sisters, their families linked by marriage, as well as by a shared love of collecting art and objects.Each followed her own career path: Oriana immersed herself in the world of fine jewellery, working alongside Cartier’s creative director Micheline Kanoui, who became her mentor, then at Christie’s, for the indefatigable jewellery-expert François Curiel, and finally moving to New York’s 47th Street diamond district, to work for the legendary diamantaire William Goldberg. Candice meanwhile became a successful magazine executive specialising in marketing and branding. In 2006, both at a turning point in their careers, they decided to join forces and talents to create jewellery with the style, quality, character and charm they both craved.
