DUJAC

In 1967, Jacques Seysses created Domaine Dujac out of a somewhat rundown Domaine Graillet in Morey-St Denis, which he rather quickly turned around with his showstopping debut 1969 vintage. In every sense, this vineyard is family run by Jacques, his wife Rosalind and their sons. Having come from California to work the harvest, Rosalind combines ‘New World’ innovation learnt on her family’s estate in Napa with the old Burgundian tradition at Dujac. This enormously talented family have made the domaine one of the most admired in the world, where the estate has grown from 5 hectares when initially purchased by Jacques to today’s estimate of around 17, including the 7 plots of Grand Crus. The entire estate has been running organically since 2008, earning certification in 2011.
