The Gondolo 8-Days, Date & Day Indication model was introduced at Baselworld in 2013. It was available exclusively in white gold, either with a silvered dial (ref. 5200G-010) or the blue version (ref. 5200G-001). The rectangular case is reminiscent of the firm’s Art Deco timepieces.

The new 28-20 REC 8J caliber was specifically built for the reference, featuring twin inline barrels for an 8-days or 192 hours power reserve, Patek Philippe’s Spiromax balance spring and Pulsomax escapement to reduce friction and provide higher accuracy over time. The subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock displays also the date indicated by a red-tipped hand and the day through a small aperture. Day and date instantaneously jump at midnight.
