Patek Philippe unveiled the reference 5738 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the legendary Golden Ellipse. The new rose-gold version of the Patek icon was larger in size and featured an ebony black sunburst dial with applied hour markers and slender hands in rose gold such as the present watch. Further adding to its desirability is the dual signed dial by Tiffany & Co. A dress watch that appeals to aesthetes and connoisseurs alike, the watch was powered by the ultra-thin Cal. 240 mm which ensured that the case was slim at 9.4 mm.
