L'occasion de la visite en France de leurs majestés Britanniques le roi George VI et la reine Elisabeth. 19-22 Juillet 1938. Paris: 1938. [With:] – Paris du 19 au 26 Août 1944. Paris: 1944. [And:] – La libération de Paris. Paris: 1944.
3 limited editions, all marked as specially printed for presentation to Anthony Eden. The first named is a souvenir of the royal visit to Paris which, in his capacity as Foreign Secretary, Eden had arranged in February 1938 before resigning over Chamberlain's appeasement of Mussolini; there is an explanatory note in Eden's hand at the beginning of this volume detailing that he was consequently not able to accompany George VI and Queen Elizabeth to Paris in July of that year. The other two works relate to the liberation of Paris by the Allies in 1945.
3 volumes, folio, quarto and small folio, illustrations (occasional light scattered spotting). Original publishers' wrappers (some light soiling). Provenance: French government presentation copies to: – Antony Eden.
