This 15th 'edition’ [i.e. impression] was published in March 1937, bringing the print run at that time – within a year of the appearance of the first edition – to 275,000 copies. Carnegie writes: ‘This book is inscribed to one of England’s most brilliant leaders – the Right Honorable Anthony Robert Eden. He doesn’t need to read this book He lives it.’
