This platinum, diamond and emerald Haute Joaillerie bracelet watch can only be described as spectacular. It is unquestionably one of the most magnificent Patek Philippe bracelet watches ever to be offered at auction and a serious piece of important jewellery. One of the vintage stars of the Ultimate Collection, it is presented in exceptional almost unworn condition and excitingly is still accompanied by the original Certificate of Origin and box.
Manufactured in 1956, the sheer quality of the bracelet and hinged cover concealing the dial can only be the work of one of the best jewellers working at the time and, as would be expected of a Patek Phiippe jewelled watch, the diamonds and emeralds of graduated sizes are perfectly matched for colour and clarity. Overall, it is set with 115 emeralds weighing approximately 8.99 carats, 94 baton-cut diamonds weighing approximately 14.43 carats and 104 round diamonds weighing approximately 5.40 carats.
