The present tile pictures depict Willem Frederik, Prince of Orange-Nassau and later King of The Netherlands (1772-1843) and his wife Friederike Luise Wilhelmine of Prussia (1774-1837). It is possible that these were produced to show support for the Prince, who had been in exile since 1795 after the French invasion under Napoleon, as he moved to return to The Netherlands and become king following the withdrawal of the French in 1813.
