The sale of Albrecht Dürer: Masterpieces from a Private Collection achieved $6,002,750/£3,781,733/€4,442,035, selling 80% by value and 76% by lot. The top lot of the sale was Albrecht Dürer’s The Rhinoceros, which realized $866,500/£545,895/€641,210, setting a world auction record for the artist.

The sale saw competitive bidding from private clients and the trade from both the United States and Europe.
