This month’s live 92 lot sale includes a strong selection of Impressionist, American West and 19th century masterpieces and sculptures that showcase the best of the genres. Highlights include an iconic Frederic Remington bronze, Albert Bierstadt’s dramatic landscapes, Childe Hassam’s nationalistic painting from his flag series, Gilbert Stuart’s portrait of George Washington and prime artworks from Milton Avery, Fairfield Porter and more.

Scheduled from 7 May to 24 May, American Art Online,  will feature works spanning the spectrum of American Art. From Modernism and 20th Century Realism by Milton Avery and Andrew Wyeth to classic examples of Impressionist and 19th Century paintings by Childe Hassam and Albert Bierstadt. Other highlights include works by Charles Burchfield, Harriet Frishmuth, and Grandma Moses.
