Art Impressionniste et Moderne

Our exceptional 100-lot sale of Impressionist and Modern includes two masterpieces: Le salon by Emile Bernard, leader of the Pont-Aven school, and La conquête de l’air by Roger de La Fresnaye (a second version of which is owned by the Museum of Modern Art in New York).

The sale will also feature an outstanding late period painting by Edoaurd Vuillard, Le boudoir au voile de Gênes, alongside fine canvases from Raoul Dufy, Georges Braque, Henri Matisse, Francis Picabia and Marc Chagall. To commemorate the centenary of the death of Auguste Rodin, a group of sculptures from the artist will be offered for sale, sourced from various private collections, including an important cast of one of the Bourgeois de Calais: Pierre de Wiessant, vêtu.
