With works spanning from the late 19th century through the end of the 20th century, the March American Art sale comprises an impressive breadth of artists, movements, media and price points. Among the many highlights are maritime paintings by Francis Augustus Silva and Thomas Moran, Impressionist examples by Mary Cassatt and Willard Leroy Metcalf, Western Art by Frederic Remington and Carl Rungius, Illustrations by Norman Rockwell and Leroy Neiman and a group of Modern works led by Milton Avery.
For the first time, the mid-season American Art auction will take place on a digital platform. Collectors can place bids online starting March 14 through March 23, conveniently allowing a wide window of time to participate from all around the globe.
