South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art

The September sale from the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art department features an exceptional painting by Vasudeo S. Gaitonde alongside new-to-market pieces. Proceeds from a selection of works donated by the artists to The Pamela and Ajay Raju Foundation will directly benefit the Germination Project — an initiative established by Pamela and Ajay Raju to fund education and youth programs in Philadelphia. The remarkable showcase includes such leading South Asian contemporary artists as A. Balasubramaniam, Anju Dodiya, Atul Dodiya, Jitish Kallat and Ranjani Shettar.
