A year after the regular watch auctions were re-launched in Dubai, Christie’s will hold its largest ever sale in the category in the Middle East. The 157 lot strong sale will  be led by the limited and exclusive high complications, Histoire de Tourbillon 1 & 2 by Harry Winston. Highlights include some unique pieces, Tourbillons, Minute Repeaters and numerous other complications by the most renowned watchmakers such as  Patek Philippe, FP Journe, Dewitt, Piaget, Chopard, Rolex, Cartier, Audemars Piguet, to name a few.  A total of 40 lots will be sold without reserve in the upcoming  Important Watches sale, which remains the only auction in this category to be held in the region. Lot 157, the last lot of this sale is a FP Journe, Le Chronomètre Bleu BYBLOS with an unusal Eastern Arabic blue dial is to be sold without a reserve price to benefit The Rashid Centre For Disabled, who has done exemplary work for disabled children in the region for the past 20 years.
