Impressionist and Modern Art Works on Paper

As the only international auction house to hold a dedicated Works on Paper Sale in New York, this season’s tightly curated auction comprises 97 lots including high-quality works on paper by masters such as Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Marc Chagall, Edgar Degas, Paul Klee, Egon Schiele and Emil Nolde. Highlights include an atmospheric pastel of Waterloo Bridge by Claude Monet, two richly worked figural drawings by Henri Matisse, an early Piet Mondrian charcoal drawing and Joan Miró’s Metamorphoses sold by the family of his primary dealer Pierre Matisse.
