Two iconic paintings by Vasudeo S. Gaitonde and Tyeb Mehta lead our South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction, alongside significant works by modern masters Francis Newton Souza, Syed Haider Raza, Akbar Padamsee and Jehangir Sabavala. The sale will also showcase a rare selection of paintings by Bengal School artists including Rabindranath Tagore and Hemendranath Mazumdar as well as works by acclaimed Pakistani modern and contemporary artists.
