South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art

Spanning more than 70 years of artistic production in South Asia, the sale features fresh-to-market works from several important private collections, including works by Indian Modernists Akbar Padamsee, Syed Haider Raza, Francis Newton Souza, Manjit Bawa and Nasreen Mohamedi. Also included are works by Tyeb Mehta, Hemendranath Mazumdar, George Keyt, Mohammad Kibria, Maqbool Fida Husain and Ram Kumar, among others.
