Modern British Art Evening Sale

Led by Henry Moore’s unique Square Form which has been in the same private collection for the last 60 years, our inaugural January evening sale of Modern British Art showcases iconic works from many private collections including Howard Hodgkin from the Jeremy Lancaster Estate, William Roberts from the Dr Jeffrey Sherwin Collection, William Turnbull from the Collection of Richard L. Weisman and a beautiful Laurence Stephen Lowry from the Estate of Dr Leonard D. Hamilton, who famously played a key part in the discovery of the double helix. Modernist works from the 1930s are strongly represented by a wonderful white relief by Ben Nicholson and abstract painting, Forms on White Ground by John Piper.
