As the only auction house with sales dedicated to Impressionist and Modern Art Works on Paper, our fall auction will offer a diverse range of masterworks that underscore the significance of draughtsmanship for artists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This year we celebrate 40 years of dedicated sales for this segment of the market in New York, highlighted with notable works from Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Fernand Léger, Marc Chagall, Paul Klee, Wassily Kandinsky among others.

Please note, in addition to our public viewing from 2-10 November, we welcome you to preview the exhibition on 1 November from 10am - 5pm by appointment only.

Holiday shipping deadlines

Please be advised Christie’s offices will be closed starting December 20, 2019 and will re-open on January 2, 2020. To receive your property before our offices close, please be aware of the following deadlines:

For international shipments, full and clear payment of both principal and shipping must be received by December 11, 2019. For domestic shipments, full and clear payment of both principal and shipping must be received by December 13, 2019.

If your shipment is unable to be booked by these dates, we will be happy to hold your property in storage and help make shipping arrangements in the new year.
