Laugh now but one day we’ll be in charge is a new auction format, building on the success of our past four auctions dedicated to editions by Banksy. Our March 2021 iteration of Banksy: I can’t believe you morons actually buy this sh*t achieved the record total for any auction dedicated to the artist’s works, achieving £4.46 million ($6.1 million).

The new auction, again cheekily titled in reference to one of the artist’s screenprints, will situate Banksy within the wider context of artists producing editions in the 21st century.

The sale will predominantly feature works by Banksy, alongside editions created in the 21st Century by sought-after artists such as Yayoi Kusama, Yoshitomo Nara, Tunji Adeniyi Jones, Harland Miller, Wade Guyton, Jeff Koons, STIK, Damien Hirst and David Shrigley.
