Christie’s is proud to present Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which offers a selection of paintings and calligraphy ranging from Classical and Modern through to the Contemporary period.

The sale, meticulously put together for art collectors and enthusiasts and sourced from different parts of the world, features several private collections. We are proud to present the collection of Soho Tokutomi, which features an array of rubbings, books and manuscripts from the legendary Japanese journalist and historian. There are also important paintings and calligraphy previously in the Wang Jingwei Family Collection.

Furthermore, this sale offers exceptional Huang Zhou and Li Kuchan paintings from a distinguished Southeast Asian collector. These are accompanied by paintings of 20^th century  masters, such as Qi Baishi, Xu Beihong, Pu Ru, Feng Zikai, and Ding Yanyong.
