Jewels Online: The London Edit
Sale Overview
Jewels Online: The London Edit offers a selection of fine antique and contemporary jewellery, including an impressive private collection of modern jewels with signed pieces by Graff, Van Cleef & Arpels and Cartier (lot 199-234) as well as a 1970s necklace by Van Cleef & Arpels (lot 246) and a fine Art Deco sapphire and diamond bracelet (lot 251). The auctions starts with a private collection of Art Deco brooches, one of which was purchased from Chaumet in December 1924 by the 1st Viscountess Cowdray (lot 12). This is followed by another Art Deco brooch, also originally belonging to the 1st Viscountess. It is a complete coincidence to have these two brooches reunited nearly 100 years later, consigned by different vendors, but from the same original collection.
The sale will be held online from the 11–25 November, with viewing at our King Street galleries from the 17–24 November.
For those unable to visit our exhibition in person, our specialists would be pleased to discuss the jewels over phone or email and we look forward to hearing from you.
